This Montreal Alley Is Being Transformed Into A "Christmas Market"

Bring on the Holiday spirit.

There are so many holiday markets popping up all over the city, visiting every single one may be an impossible task, but I'm here to make sure that you don't miss out on the ones that are truly bringing something special to the table.

This Christmas Market hosted by The Pepin Shop is truly unique and brings together a fusion of Old Montreal's undeniable charm and the holiday spirit in one pretty festive package.

The alley where this is all taking place is located on Rue St-Paul O, in the Old Port. It is absolutely charming, the walls are made of old cement blocks that make up the surrounding buildings, and it is complete with an archway entrance.

Although we don't have any photos of the alley all decked out in Christmas spirit, we can imagine lots of string lights, bows and pine needles. Here are some photos of the location to give you an idea of what to expect.

At the market you will be able to find various Christmas decorations and gifts with European accents. They will also be hosting DIY workshops such as wreath making throughout the duration of the market.

One thing that I love is that they are selling miniature Christmas trees that are packaged to be replanted in the spring. What a lovely way to honour the holiday season with an ode to nature and giving back to the earth.
