There is nothing I love more in the summer than a good picnic on the beach. Lucky for us here in Montreal, we have plenty of cute beaches to pick from!

What better way to catch up with friends and spend a lazy day in the sun than with great food and drinks in a beautiful spot? Even if you're not much of a cook, you can grab some take-out or prepared food from your local supermarket.

There's just something so enjoyable about laying out multi-coloured throws and towels and setting up an array of foods to share. You might not find the ocean, but definitely stretches of sand plus water activities like kayaking, pedal boats, and canoeing.
