- Cineplex will once again offer free movies to celebrate its Community Day this year.
- On feature will be 5 favourite holiday films.
- Popcorn, candy, and drinks will also be discounted.
With the snow decorating our city, the season of movie watching is upon us. However, there's no question, going to the movies has gotten really expensive. Although it is still a popular and fun activity, I know I am not the only one who feels a little extorted when going to a movie theatre. Let's be real, the price to view a film in the theatre has become a little steep.
Who can forget about the overpriced refreshment stands that tend to leave you wondering how you just spent that much money when all you got was a Coke.
Regardless of the cost, I really do love going to watch a movie in theatres. There is something about the comfortable seating, surround-sound, and the giant screen that makes every film more enjoyable to watch.
So, I am very pumped to share with you all that Cineplex is hosting a free movie day to celebrate Community Day in Montreal this December.
So while you may still have to dish it out for some popcorn and candy, the movie itself will be free, meaning you've saved yourself at least half the expense of a theatre visit. And the good news keeps coming because there will actually be discounts on stuff at the refreshment stand!
This event will be taking place at select theatres across Quebec, so make sure to visit the Cineplex website to see which locations are participating.
There will be five holiday films to choose from, including A Christmas Story, Elf, Gremlins, The Polar Express and National Lampoons Christmas Vacation.
All proceeds made on Community Day will support the Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada.
This is a great event for all movie lovers, not to mention that it is for a worthy cause.
Get your family and friends in the Christmas spirit with a morning of holiday movie fun. Now that it is snowing, it really feels like Santa is near.
