- Les Festival Sommets Gourmands includes a wide selection of food and cocktails as well as a number of activities to make the most of the beautiful surroundings.

It's nearly impossible to schedule daily workouts between all the eating and drinking there is to do in Quebec. At least, that's one of our excuses.
Now there is a great solution coming to us from Saint Sauveur where you can enjoy three fantastic days of stuffing your face with food and alcohol but that also focuses on an active, healthy lifestyle. Les Festival Sommets Gourmands is here and it's just an hour drive from Montreal.
There will be activities to get you moving, and to burn off some of those calories that you're sure to consume like yoga in the city center (or on the water on a paddleboard if you're feeling brave and coordinated), cycling, and trail running.
The "Gourmet Trail" option is a 2km hike in the heart of Saint Sauveur and the six tasting stops along the way will keep you motivated.
The festival is separated into 6 Zones: Move, Health, Gourmande, Festive and Family.
The food fair covers the gamut of gourmet choices along with BBQ, cocktail bars, and wine tastings.
With over 100 vendors participating in the Zones, there will be a ton of options for whatever you want to do.
A one-day admission is $25 and that comes with two gourmet tastings, a drink of your choice, a chairlift to the top of the mountain with a surprise experience once you get there, one health workshop, all activities in the Move zone, and access to all the exhibitors!
But if you buy your tickets in advance, you can get access to all three days for the price of one. You can buy your tickets here.
When you want to relax, take a drink at the piano-bar, which will have musical performances and jam sessions with special guests.
This really is a festival for everyone. If you happen to have any food restrictions or sensitivities, you will be happy to know that there will be vegetarian and vegan options, gluten-free and lactose-free products, and organic items available.
With the weather cooling down at the end of September, this is a great excuse for a mini road trip.
