We hate to be the bearers of bad news, but now that mid-August is here, it's time to face the facts: summer is almost over. You probably have already realized this, hence the nagging feeling in the pit of your stomach that reminds you that you may not have made the most of the summer.

Well, we get it. And we're here to help... because we, too want to make the most of the amazing season that is summer in Montreal.  It really is amazing.

As you probably know, Montreal comes alive in the summer with a host of ephemeral terrasses, pop-up restaurants, and other seasonally-specific events.

But, of course, there is still another good month of warm weather and long summer days ahead of us. To help you make the most of what's left of the summer, we've compiled a list of summer-only events, bars and restaurants that you need to try before they disappear again.
