A/Maze is a Montreal producer of escape games that offer an immersive and interactive adventure to all those who chose to play. Their games enable visitors to test out their problem-solving skills while working in a team.

Their Plateau location is by far my favourite escape game. From the psychiatric asylum to the secret order, these high-pressure situations are some of the most fun things to do in the city with a group of friends.

A/Maze Plateau just announced their latest game and it looks epic. The Submarine allows you to enter Jules Verne's fantastic nautical world.

The game is set in 1866 and many ships have been encountering the same problem, which is causing a commotion amongst crews. You are part of the panic as this unknown creature hits your boat. It is now up to you and your crew to figure out what is causing this ruckus.

The A/MAZE description for the game sets the scene: "On a dark night, as you and your companions tend to the deck, you notice a strange light near the horizon."

"The light moves faster and faster towards you and before you can scream, your boat is hit and you fall unto the creature's cold steal exterior. One thing is very clear, this is no narwhal."*

Players must find clues to crack codes while working as a team to solve puzzles to complete the challenge.

False clues and confusing trails will be frustrating at times, which is why this is a great way to test the patience and communications skills of your date.

These games are time-limited so there is no room to fool around, the countdown begins as you enter the room…do you think you have what it takes to conquer this challenge?
