For the sixth consecutive year, the Showfrette Festival will return to Old Beloeil in February. For the colourful event, 120 works by artists will be selected and projected onto the façade of St-Mathieu Church. Paintings, drawings, photography, collages, and digital works will illuminate the structure for two magical winter evenings. The screenings will take place four times each night, between 6:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. on February 28 and 29.

For the occasion, you will also be able to dance to the rhythms of invited artists, enjoy drinks and gourmet snacks from local merchants, and participate in various activities organized on site.

The Beloeil-based company TransQuébec, which specializes in audiovisual spectacles, has partnered with the event to bring the project to life.

To give you an idea of what to expect, at the last edition, virtual reality games were available to the public as well as a photo booth, an escape room, giant games, and juggling —basically, all the elements for an evening that is both entertaining and magical.

In addition, an outdoor bar was available, where for $2 tickets visitors could get a drink or snack.

With only an hour's drive between Montreal and the site, you have absolutely no reason to miss the festival next month.

It's the perfect way to surprise your significant other and get out of your routine this winter.
