Bar Brutus needs to stop blowing our minds on the daily with sneak peeks into their menu, because our mouths our already overflowing in anticipation, and yesterday's unveiling put us over the edge. Released on their FB page, Brutus showcased The HOT PIG, a hot dog stuffed with a 100% bacon sausage.
Yup, you heard that right, a sausage entirely made up of bacon, which Brutus believes could be the first ever of its kind in the world. Topped with fried onions, lettuce and homemade mustard, and served with a side of fries, the HOT PIG looks like decadence in an oblong bun.
The soon-to-open bar in Rosemont has been building some serious anticipation for their food offerings, as Brutus has already shown the world the sinfully-magical creations of the Jägermeister Poutine, Pogo Waffle, and Bacon Sushi Roll.
A dish almost entirely made of bacon is basically our wet dream, and we hope Montreal's International Bacon Day includes similarly creative creations. Otherwise we'll just stick with Brutus, 'cuz this bar seems to have bacon on-lock.
