This Is Why The Weather In Montreal's Been So Fvcked Up Lately

Jeremy The Pissed Off Weatherman is here to let you know that all your weather complaints are justified. You don't need me to tell you that this summer's been interesting to say the least. We get one boiling hot day, then the rest of the week is cold, grey and just plain sad looking. Then you have freezing mornings like the one we're having today and then we top it off with a week of rain.

Not exactly what you'd call ideal summer conditions. This year was one of the rare times where the month of June was actually colder than the month of May, and all this crazy weather can be explained by one thing, El Nino. The warming of the surface temperature of the pacific ocean creates an unusual cycle of warm and cold weather and it's causing a whole bunch of weird air mass shifts.
We just happen to be in the exact path of a cold air mass originating from British Columbia. Because of this, the rest of the world is benefiting from warmer temperatures and we're stuck with all this fucked up weather.
Simply put, it's colder here because it's hotter everywhere else.
