This Monday Will Be The Deadliest Day Of The Year

Unless, you're a farmer from 1908, chances are you don't have much use for daylight savings time.

When the Fall season comes along we "fall back" an hour, which is really annoying because we're stuck with a 4:00 pm sunset.

Then when spring time arrives we "spring forward" an hour, and we have to deal with whole new set of problems.

First of all we lose an hour of sleep which is more than enough reason to be angry. But on top of that we're going to have to deal with one of the most dangerous days of the year.

The Monday after Daylight Savings Time is typically the day where there are more deaths than any other day of the year.

Researchers in Colorado, Sweden and Croatia have recorded up to twice as many heart attack victims on the Monday after DST compared to an average Monday.

In Canada, researchers found that there is a significant increase in car accidents, workplace injuries and accidental deaths.

But in the end you'll probably be fine. Although it might not be such a bad idea to be a tiny but more careful than you normally would... just in case.
