This Montreal Museum Is Hosting A "Late Night Dance Party" This Fall

Most Montrealers have explored the various museums throughout the city. It's a great way to spend your day and experience some culture, view an interesting exhibit, learn about an artist, and feel inspired.

I bet you didn't know that it's also a fantastic way to spend your night! A few times a year there's a special all night event called Les Nocturnes that's hosted at the MAC (Musée d'art contemporain).

Exploring museums isn't just an "older generation" thing, especially with this event, it's a great way to get millenials out and experience some art and culture.

A party at the MAC is one of the most trendy events in the city to attend. You can see interactive tours, listen to DJs, participate in art workshops, see the beautiful art installations and most importantly eat, drink and dance!

This trendy party is happening from 5pm- 2am on November 9th. Tickets are $19 or free if you're a member of MAC!

So get ready to dance, mingle and see some incredible art installations with your friends!

Here's What's Open & What's Closed On Labour Day In Montreal

There are still a ton of things to do this Monday holiday!
  • Here's a short list of what's open and what's closed on Labour Day in Montreal.
  • If you're heading out, make sure to call ahead to your destination to inquire about reduced hours.

Yes, it's a long weekend! Three uninterrupted days to relax, have fun, and not think for two seconds about things like school or work, or other responsibilities until Tuesday morning. Not to be too depressing but it will be six weeks before we get another official long weekend.

But let's focus on the positive! This is usually one of the summer weekends that people are trying to pack in their last days of camping or chalet time. But if you're planning to stay in the city it's good to know what's open and what's closed so you can plan out your Labour Day weekend.
