What was once a 200 year old fully stone Quebec house now stands as the Bord-du-Lac House, the perfect modern Montreal summer home. I mean, just look at that pool.
Rather than do away with the original stone structure, architect Henri Cleinge decided to compliment the historic house with a brand new construction. Meant to express the passage of time, the two homes are linked by a bridge in the giant living room.
Expansive, sleek, a blend of old and new architectural elements, and I know you can't stop picturing chilling in that giant living room and tanning by the epic pool. It's okay, I'm right there with you.
How do you like the Bord-du-Lac House?
