This Quebec High School Found A Unique Way To Celebrate Its 2020 Graduates (PHOTOS)

Graduates of schools across the province have seen their plans for graduation disrupted because of the current global crisis. Still, some schools have been getting creative to help their students to celebrate this unique moment. A high school in Sherbrooke, Quebec even installed a ceremonial line of pictures of its graduates on the side of the road leading up to the school.

Alexander Galt Regional High School is an English-language educational institution located in Lennoxville, one of the boroughs found in the city of Sherbrooke.

On Thursday, May 14, students were invited to pick up their personal belongings, but little did they know that a surprise awaited them.

A celebrity alley was made with all of their graduation photos!

"As we move to online schooling for the remainder of the year we are reminded of the opportunity missed for our grads. Completing high school is a cause for celebration and we are so proud of their accomplishments," the school wrote on its Facebook page. 

It is mentioned that the school's employees worked for hours to set up the 157 photos.

Students' graduation photos were set up all along the school's field.

Officials from Alexander Galt wrote, "We wanted to find a way to honour them as they return."

"For many of you this has been your home for the past 5 years. As you move to the next chapter in your lives we want to thank you for the contributions you have made to our building."

Scott Loach, one of Alexander Galt's graduating students, points out that this let him see the photos of all the friends he's made in the past five years.

"I thought this was perfect… It was very, very thoughtful," another student, Sydney Crawford added.

"I didn't think we were going to have any graduation or celebration at all," graduate Jacob Goddington mentioned.

The school's official prom ceremony was apparently been postponed until October, according to CBC News.

Major kuddos to Alexander Galt for helping its students feel appreciated during this difficult time.
