This Victorian Mansion In Canada Has Eight Bedrooms And Still Costs Less Than Your Apartment (Photos)

If you live in any major city in Canada then there's a pretty good chance that the place you call home is a one or two-bedroom apartment with one bathroom.

This may not be the most ideal place to dwell, but living downtown is ridiculously expensive. In cities such as Montreal, Toronto, and Vancouver apartment living has become the norm for millenials simply because no one can actually afford a house anymore.

Chances are the price of your apartment in the city is the same (if not greater!) cost as a decent-sized house your parents bought a few decades ago.

But what If I told you buying an enormously large dream house was totally possible to own for less than a central apartment? Well, pack your bags.

As of now there is a giant Victorian-style mansion up for sale and you won't believe how cheap it is. With eight bedrooms, two dishwashers, a private wine cellar, a full-sized basketball court, and a giant swimming pool. You'd seriously think only the richest of the rich would be able to afford this spot.

It may come as a surprise, but the mansion is listed as $395,000.

The giant home originally had been going for a half-million dollar price point. But after minimal interest, the owners shaved off 100k.

Potential buyers are now coming from as far as Dubai for a chance at this place. You may be starting to think this is too good to be true and wonder whether or not there's a catch to taking advantage of such a steal on this castle of a home.

Well, there's just one small reason why the house is so cheap...

If you want to live here, you're going to have to move to Nova Scotia.

But seriously, who wouldn't want to leave the city and trade in that small, dingy apartment for ocean air, a slower lifestyle, and a home where you can sleep in a different bedroom each day of the week?! It totally sounds like paradise.

A one-bedroom, one-bathroom condo in Montreal costs about the same price as this gorgeous Atlantic home, so there's definitely more pros to trading in the city life than cons.

There's no doubt this place will be sold in no time. Let's hope more unbelievable homes start popping up on the market at ridiculously cheap prices. If so, major Canadian cities might see everyone move out east just for a chance at owning a luxury mansion for the price of a condo.
