Tim Hortons Just Added Chicken Strips To Their Menu Across Canada And People Are Already Complaining About Them

It's no surprise that Tim Hortons has been expanding their menu over the past few years to identify more as a restaurant and less as a quick coffee and doughnut stop. There really is something nostalgic about remembering the days when you could only get bagels, a few baked goods, and coffee from the Canadian chain. Well, those days seem to be way behind us.

TL;DR With the addition of regular-size chicken strips to Tim Hortons menu today, Canadians are furiously tweeting about the new food item and its poor quality. Tweets below for more details.

Tim Hortons actually just introduced their brand new menu item today, so if you were still getting used to the fact that they now sell "Timmies Minis," you might want to buckle up for this.

Chicken strips have just been added to the menu across Canada. They were first released as an option for "Timmies Minis" last month but now the food item is available in a regular size. This could be seen as a plus for anyone who enjoys a bit more than a bagel with their coffee, but so far it seems like every Canadian has a bone to pick with Tim Hortons right now.

It just so turns out the entire country decided to tweet out their frustration over the new Tim Hortons food item. As of now it looks like the food chain has made a terrible mistake...

So Tim Hortons decided to get chicken strips. I think it’s best they stick to donuts and coffee...

Maybe @TimHortons should ditch the chicken strips and fake happy meals, and return to what got them to where they are: freshly made in house donuts, good tasting coffee, and well cared after employees. If you want to make a change, serve Montreal style bagels. That’d be welcome.

The rest of Canadians have been busy complaining about the quality and presentation of the strips.

And then there are those who are already done with the new Tim Hortons...

@TimHortons this is what you get for $4? New chicken tenders are very disappointing. Give smaller bbq, you can't use it all.
When the kids ask, now you can say no.
