Tim Hortons Just Launched A New Loyalty Program And You Can Get Way More Free Coffee Than With "Roll Up The Rim"

We've all played "Roll Up the Rim" at Tim Hortons more than enough times to know it's not exactly easy to get a winning cup. You end up spending a ton of money with really no return, making the entire contest pretty disappointing for majority of Canadians.

Many of us who visit Tim Hortons regularly for our coffee fix have wished for years that there was a loyalty program similar to Starbucks and McDonalds. Thankfully the wait is finally over, yes Timmies now has some great perks for their loyal customers.

With the new "Tims Rewards" program launched today, Canadians can receive a free coffee, hot tea or pastry after seven visits to Tim Hortons.

TL;DR This morning Tim Hortons officially launched their "Tims Rewards" loyalty program available across Canada. Pick up a reusable card or download the app to receive a free coffee, hot tea or pastry after seven visits. More details below.

Consumers have the choice between an app on their phone that keeps track of their loyalty membership, or a card that they must present before payment. The reusable cards can be found today at any Tim Hortons location in Canada. Alternatively, you can download the app and place it in your digital wallet if you use an Apple or Android phone.

Obvious restrictions to the program apply, such as spending at least 50 cents per visit and spacing each visit to Tim Hortons by 30 minutes.

Like its competitor McDonalds, Tim Hortons promises new personalized digital offers as well as new discounts in the coming months. For a limited time only, new members to the "Tims Rewards" program will receive a reward after registering and making a minimum purchase of $1.50.

And even if you're not a loyal Tims customer, the loyalty program is still totally worth it as you most likely order from Timmies at least seven times over the span of a year.

Stay tuned for more details on "Tims Rewards".
