On July 19th, The Government of Canada updated its travel advisories page with an additional 31 countries.

The advisories range from 'exercise normal security precautions' (usually related to health risks) to 'avoid all travel' (usually due to violent crime and political instability).

Many of the countries on the list aren't regular tourist hotspots, but there were a few destinations that are definitely popular with Canadian travellers.

Since we're in the middle of the travel season, it's a good idea to check out the list and keep informed! You can see the entire list here.
