Video Showing Huge Bear Getting Rescued Out Of A Tree In Canada

Spring has sprung. It seems like we are not the only ones with spring fever. Wildlife across Canada is also stretching its arms and rubbing its eyes awake after 6-months of slumber.

The bear likely wandered into the residential area because it was looking for food. And after a long hibernation, nothing is more seductive to a bear than the smell of sweet sweet garbage.

The bear was first reported on Friday, and police attempted to set up a standard trap, but the clever bear would not walk into it.

As you can see from this video, the police, and firefighters had to resort to tranquilizing the animal and lifting all 250 pounds of it out of a tree.

The poor bear is all doped on tranquilizers and looks confused out of its mind. The good news is they are going to safely bring it back to it's home deep in the woods outside Abbotsford B.C.

The police team kindly ask residents of the area to be careful and tightly seal their garbage, as wildlife is coming out from hibernation and are on a lookout for quick and easy food. And garbage is a buffet for these animals.
