Video Showing Huge Fire Near Montreal That Caused Major Traffic On Highway 440

Narcity Quebec was the first to report a massive fire that broke out near highway 440 in Laval, north of Montreal.

According to a tweet from the Laval fire department, the fire has so far triggered alarms in four separate buildings.

News outlets are now reporting that the fire began in a garage in an industrial park and attracted entire squads of firefighters.

The fire also continues to cause traffic on highway 440 as driver's slow down in awe of the visible flames and towering cloud of smoke.

There have been no reports of injuries.

We attempted to reach out to Photomartint for comment but to no avail.

In the video, giant flames rise from a brick structure. Firefighters can also be seen attempting to quell the fire.

There's no word yet about a suspected cause of the fire. The fire department also does not have an estimate for when the blaze may be extinguished.
