Thousands Of People In Toronto Are Leaving Handwritten Messages On A Memorial To The Victims Of The Horrific Van Attack (Video)

Yesterday, at approximately 1:30 pm police began receiving phone calls about a person who was deliberately hitting pedestrians with a van. 

10 people were killed and 15 others were injured in the attack that took place on Yonge Street near Finch Avenue.

The suspected driver of the van is a 25 year old man named Alek Minassian and his motive is still unclear. After the attack the van was surrounded, there was standoff, but the man was taken into custody without any shots being fired. 

This morning people from Toronto have been coming together to pay tribute to the victims of this terrible tragedy. 

Thousandss of people have created a memorial by been leaving signs, flowers, candles and handwritten notes for the victims.
