It's no secret that public libraries in Montreal are less and less visited. Unless you're a university student, you probably never head to the nearest library, if at all. With almost everything online, it's a sad fact that most people dismiss the library completely.
To encourage Montrealers to go to the public library, the city could install a digital library in the metro, just like they did in NYC. Passengers can scan the digital library with their phones, choose a book, and read the ten first pages. After reading the ten first pages of the book, readers are shown a map of the closest libraries where they can rent the book for free.
