We all know, love, and even fear Black Friday and the stores that participate in the borderline-barbaric giveaway of unreasonably cheap items. Nonetheless, the annual "holiday" sends hundreds of thousands of people rushing to their nearest shopping centres, willing to fight for the cheapest and biggest deals.
TL;DR Walmart Canada has released their flyer for an early Black Friday sale from November 15 to November 21. Below are 10 of the best deals included in the flyer.
What store is more known for its Black Friday sales than the king of deals: Walmart. Each year they release their special flyer introducing all of the new prices on basically every single item you can imagine.
Luckily, Black Friday sales have become a massive trend in Canada as well, leaving Walmart Canada with no choice but to announce their very own deals in a brand new flyer.
The early Black Friday sale will begin this Thursday, November 15 and run until Wednesday, November 21. This gives you about a week to get ahold of giant brand name items at up to 50% off while quantities last!
It's important to remember that the prices currently shown on the Walmart Canada website are not the sale prices. Those will only become visible once the sale starts.
Just to give you an idea of how incredible these Black Friday deals are, here are the 10 best right out of Walmart Canada's flyer.
Host Julie Snyder pressed the Canadian prime minister about his dating life in his youth. Trudeau admitted he wasn't "quick" with girls, including Sophie. "We took our time to make sure [she] was the right one and I was the right one," he said of the relationship.
But their slow start seems to have been about more than compatibility. "We were both in a bit of a complicated phase in our personal lives," Trudeau said, appearing to choose his words carefully.
He went on: "When I met this girl I knew that this was something serious with enormous potential. I didn't want to go too fast. I didn't want to miss my chance."
"I had a few things in my life to sort out before I could focus just on her," he added, grinning and stumbling slightly.
"Like a contestant on Occupation Double, you had to be single?" Snyder asked, referring to the hit Quebec reality competition in which eccentric castmembers search for love.
"You could say that," the prime minister answered, seeming to gesture in the affirmative.
Montreal's iconic Greenspot Restaurant is selling hot dogs for 74 cents this weekend, September 18 and 19, to celebrate its 74th anniversary.
On Facebook, the Saint-Henri eatery says it's converting its small parking lot on avenue Greene into a picnic area for the event.
And the wiener fun doesn't stop there. Greenspot is having a contest on its Instagram page where followers have the chance to win 74 hot dogs — a prize they can redeem at their discretion.
The restaurant invites followers to share the Instagram post and tag three friends to enter the contest.
Daily two-for-one deals have also been part of the 74th-anniversary celebrations.
Dating back to 1947, Greenspot serves American and Quebec diner classics (including a long list of hearty poutines) amid retro decor (including individual table jukeboxes — they don't work but they're super charming!).
