Warning: Snow And Freezing Rain Expected In These Canadian Provinces Today

This Spring has really shownCanadians that Mother Nature is the boss, and she doesn't run on our schedule, as much as we would like her to.

Even though we're well into April, and May is on the horizon, there are still provinces in Canada that are under Snowfall, Storm Surge and Freezing Rain warnings, put in effect by Environment Canada

Take a look below at the areas in Canada that are under a Public Weather Warning.

TL;DR With the tease of Spring coming sporadically to Montreal, other parts of the country are under extreme Weather Warnings issued by Environment Canada, including Snowfall and Freezing Rain warnings.

In the province of Quebec, there are two areas that have a warning in place right now. The Laurentians Wildlife Reserve is under a Freezing Rain Warning, and Quebec City is expected a "Storm Surge," according to Environment Canada

The Storm Surge is expected to affect Bellechasse, Côte-de-Beaupré, L'Île d'Orléans, Lévis and Québec city and will bring high water levels near the coast, strong winds and the strong potential of flooding.

While Nova Scotia has a wind warning in effect for the Inverness County region, it's Newfoundland that wins for worst weather in the Maritimes today.

Newfoundland and Labrador has over 18 Weather Warnings in place right now, according to Environment Canada, and most of them are for Freezing Rain and Snowfall. Are we in April at all!?

Nunavut, Yukon and the Northwest Territories all have Snowfall warnings in place for various towns, including For Good Hope, Coral Harbour and the Rankin Region.

In Dempster, Yukon it is far from spring - Environment Canada has issued a Blizzard Warning for the region, as winds are expected to reach 80km/h speeds and blowing snow has visibility at nearly zero.

I can't believe I'm writing about BLIZZARDS in APRIL. My heart goes out to anyone in the aforementioned areas that is actually dealing with weather.
