Over the last few days, all strains of the interwebs have been dominated by the Ice Bucket Challenge. From grandmas to Chris Pratt, everyone has been partaking in this social media challenge in support of the ALS, and now Montreal's mayor has been added to the ranks of participants who froze their nips off.

To raise funds and awareness for Lou Gehrig's disease, Denis Coderre took to the roof of city hall this morning and got three, count 'em three whole buckets of ice water dumped on top of him.

A video of the mayor's Ice Bucket Challenge will be released by the Gazette today. You can watch it here, and enjoy these on the scene twitter photos:
