Believe It Or Not, Montreal Is The Most Beautiful City On Earth

While videos of Montreal are quite abundant these days, we occasionally get submissions that stand out in a big way. SKY Semijon Productions sent us their very first attempt at capturing the city with the use of a drone recently, which takes us high above our many iconic landmarks,and shows off areas that we'd otherwise never get to see. You get a sense of just how powerful Montreal really is, and one could argue, gives a whole new love for it as well. Enjoy!

We Are Not Canadians, We Are Not Quebecers, We Are MONTREALERS

Because we just don't fit in anywhere else.

When you're out of town and someone asks you where you're from, what do you say? I know for me - and most of my friends - I always answer that I'm from Montreal.

I might follow up that it's in Quebec, Canada, if people look a little confused. But for the most part, I'll be totally honest with you, I just highkey expect people to automatically know where my city is.

Montreal's infrastructure is nothing to brag about, especially when you see how dilapidated certain areas are. But at least there's always one place that looks great no matter how old and worn out it gets: Old Montreal.

The historic buildings, the narrow streets, the tiny shops and of course, the cobble stone streets. It's what gives Old Montreal its distinct character. The cobblestones are a unique feature that was kept for a reason, it's part of our patrimony.

You may try to leave Montreal, but eventually, the call back to the city will be far too strong for you to resist. Even Canada's poster boy Justin Trudeau could no longer resist the urge that is Montreal, as the Prime Minister is set to return to his home city.

Due to the fact that 24 Sussex Drive (home to all PMs) is still being renovated, Prime Minister Trudeau is bringing his family to live in Montreal for the time being, reports a spurious source.
