After being forced to bundle up every day for the last 2 weeks, it was kind of nice to walk out of my apartment this morning without having to put on 2 extra sweaters.
This is the kind of winter I can live with. Sure, it isn't warm per se. But at least the air doesn't hurt my face anymore.
So if you're enjoying this warmish weather we've been blessed with lately, I have some good news:
Winter is officially cancelled in Montreal... at least for next couple of weeks.
Let's call it a winter hiatus, because it's way too late to call it an Indian summer. But from now until the end of January, temperatures will be mostly above 0°C.
There might be a few flurries here and there, but there are no significant snowfalls or storms on the way and the probability of precipitation is very low.
So now is the best time to get out there and do all those outdoor activities you've been putting off.
