Love cheesecake? Of course you do, you’re a human (who isn’t lactose intolerant) with a mouth and a soul.
Rejoice, then, fellow lover of cheesecake, because Canada’s selection of the dairy-rich-and-indulgent is about to get a serious upgrade thanks to The Cheesecake Factory.
Famous in the United States for its vast array of cheesecake offerings, the first Canadian Cheesecake Factory will be opening its doors to hungry patrons next month.
Set for a November 21st opening date, Canada’s only Cheesecake Factory location will be 10,400 square feet in size, housing two covered patios, reports Global News.
And a restaurant chain serving luxuriously rich desserts like The Cheesecake Factory would only be home in a similarly bourgeois setting. Good thing The Cheesecake Factory is opening in Toronto’s Yorkdale Mall, the epitome of bougie.
It is a shame that Toronto is getting Canada’s first Cheesecake Factory, but this is probably the first of many. If the launch-location is successful, it probably won’t be long until more Cheesecake Factory locations pop up across Canada.
At least in Montreal your options for decadent desserts aren’t exactly limited. The city may not have a Cheesecake Factory, yet, but there are plenty of amazing bakeries (and Rockaberry) to hold you over.
The Cheesecake Factory also sells savoury dishes, to folks who don’t know, as it’s more of an all-around restaurant than strictly a sweets-and-desserts spot.
Cheesecake is the star of the show, of course, with Pumpkin Pecan, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, and White Chocolate Raspberry Truffle Cheesecake being a sample of its many varieties.
