If you love finding hidden cafes and reading books, then this mini book store is the perfect place for you! Being a bookworm myself, I have to say that this is the most adorable place I've EVER been. This open-air library is completely outside and open to the public of book lovers.
This library is truly a hidden gem in Montreal that you must discover before summer is over. It is equipped with dozens of books that you can borrow without a library card. However, the best part has to be the decor! It is decorated with flowers and pastel furniture that makes too darn cute!
This pop-up library is located in Rutherford Park (part of the Promenade Fleuve-Montagne at the entrance to Mount Royal) which is right across the street from a coffee shop. So, you can enjoy a nice cup of coffee as you relax in this open-air library.
Since July 29, the installation has been open to visitors of the “ephemeral library” in Rutherford Park and it will run until Oct. 31. In addition to the library, there are also workshops such as; SEPT 9, 16 & 23: Learn how to harvest, sort and bag local wildflower seeds 🐝 !
I mean just look how cute it is:
We're celebrating the richness of Montréal's biodiversity with a five-part eco-art installation by Edina Tokodi, one of the originators of the "green guerilla" art movement! Since July 29, the installation has been open to visitors of the “ephemeral library” in Rutherford Park (part of the Promenade Fleuve-Montagne at the entrance to Mount Royal), which runs until Oct. 31. If you are in the area, be sure to join us for the following workshops: AUG 11 & 18: Learn to create seed bombs SEPT 9, 16 & 23: Learn how to harvest, sort and bag local wildflower seeds 🐝 Click the link in our bio to learn more about the August workshops! 🌱
