Paris Honours The Victims Of The Las Vegas Attack By Turning Off Eiffel Tower Lights

A sight that seems all too familiar.

The Eiffel Tower lights were shut off overnight on Monday.

The Mayor of Paris Anne Hidalgo tweeted: "Tonight we turn off the lights of the Eiffel Tower at midnight" to honor the victims of the two attacks.

The mass shooting that took place in Las Vegas where 59 peope lost their lives and another 500 were injured as well as the knife attack that happened in Marseille.

As you may remember, in 2015 the Eiffel tower in Las Vegas went dark to honour the victims of the tragic terrorist attacks that happened in Paris. And On Monday night, Paris honored Las Vegas.
