But it's important to realize that while you are at home, so is everyone else. As in, places will be close. People are at home.

But, obviously, not everything will be closed. So, it's important to know what is and what isn't. Easter weekend is from March 30 to April 2, 2018 and people will be out of work on Good Friday and Easter Monday. Well, most people.

What's open the whole weekend

  • 311 information line

  • Public Transit (but they run on special schedules on Friday and Monday)

  • Parking Meters

  • Montreal Restaurants (but of course, it really depends. You'd have to call ahead)

  • Dépanneurs (and again, it depends on the owner)

  • Movie Theatres

  • Pharmacies

  • SAQs (except if they're inside a mall)

  • Public Markets

  • Museums

  • Major Attractions

  • Garbage Collections

Closed On Good Friday

  • Municipal Government Offices

  • Municipal Court Offices

  • Banks
