1. Joe's Panini
1404 Rue Drummond
Joe’s Panini isn’t your regular 24 hour restaurant. Generally when any restaurant advertises that they’re open 24 hours a day, it’s enough to raise a few eyebrows. Seriously, don’t let the sign scare you off- this is some of the best food in you’ll find in the city even before last call. With a menu boasting over 15 types of paninis, quiches, salads and breakfast food, you seriously can’t go wrong. So if you’re in the mood for a panini grilled to perfection, or you simply have an odd craving for chicken pot pie after closing time, Joe’s Panini has your back.

679 Rue St-Roch
Okay, so you’ve had a really shitty night. Maybe you’ve been rejected one too many times or you “literally cant even” anymore. Whatever your sob story, what better way to cope than with some true comfort food? A lot of greeks will attest to the fact that there is definitely nothing more comforting (and satisfying) than yia-yia’s cooking. So if you don’t have the luxury of a greek grandmother, or she’s simply not awake at the ungodly hour at which you decide to stumble in, Tripoli has definitely got you covered.

2020 A Crescent
Coming in hot at number three is Montreal Famous Boustan. Boustan is a truly authentic lebanese restaurant conveniently located in the heart of the action on Crescent Street. With its quick service and inexpensive yet extensive menu, Boustan is a great option for late night, quality eats open seven days a week. This recommendation however isn’t for the faint of heart- before you load up on the garlic at Boustan, I’d first make sure your date isn’t a vampire.
4. Main Deli Steakhouse
3864 Boul St-Laurent
Whether you’re celebrating victory or mourning defeat as the lights come on, you deserve to feast like a true king or queen. All vegetarians aside, many of you would definitely agree that a solid feast is not complete without a whole lotta meat! If your late night cravings include perfectly seasoned smoked meat, a well-cooked steak, or some mean house fries, stumble on over to the Main Deli Steakhouse on St-Laurent.

3616 Boul Saint-Jean
Chances are if you’re from the West Island, you’ve probably made a stop at Chenoy’s after a long night of partying at least once in your life. Chenoy’s is a great spot after closing time due to the fact that their menu is so extensive. You can get everything from seafood to burgers, but you can almost always expect whatever you order to come with a side of people you haven’t seen in 10 years.
6. Restaurant Ton Sing Mo Nan
43 Rue de la Gauchetière E
This classic Cantonese and Sichuan restaurant is probably one of the best kept secrets of Chinatown. Conveniently located half way between the Old Port and the ever-bustling upper St-Laurent, Restaurant Ton Sing Mo Nan is the perfect place to share some of the best Cantonese and Sichuan with friends around a lazy Susan. The food is great, the price is right, and the warm staff usually seem quite entertained by late-night drunken banter.

7. Café Milano
5188 Rue Jarry Est
If you’re a resident of the East End of Montreal, you may already be a late-night regular at Café Milano. Milano is another great spot for well stacked panini, but is also famous for their home-made cannoli and gourmet coffee. This is also one of many spots on this list well worth visiting during the day due to their charmingly quaint terasse.

Although you might have to cut your night of partying slightly short to arrive before their kitchencloses at 2 A.M, this adorable french style bistro is perfect for those who enjoy the finer things in life (or after midnight). This hidden gem on St-Denis street is the perfect place for gourmet late night eats, or better yet, a perfect place to justify asking, “do you want to go some place a little more quiet?”.
9. Miami Deli
3090 Rue Sherbrooke E
If you need a little sunshine in your life, Miami Deli is a great place to brighten up your day just before the sun comes up. Between the classic diner layout and the tropical decor, you’ll feel like you’re on set of a Beach Boys music video in the 60’s. At the Miami Deli you can order a variety of plates from seafood to subs, in a variety of sizes perfect to match anyone’s appetite.
