My friends, learn from my mistake and check restaurant websites before you go eat there.
Last Saturday I was at Bitoque in Montreal and I figured a Portuguese restaurant must have some pretty good chicken. So I barely glanced at the menu and ordered the chicken. Don't get me wrong, it was great. But when I got home later I randomly decided to check their website.
What I found was heartbreaking. Right there staring me in the face was the dish I was meant to order; a classic Montreal dish with a topping you just can't get in a normal restaurant. A Calamari Poutine.
I'll give you a second to catch your breath ... are you okay? Good, now you're mentally prepared to have a look.

The recipe is simple. Go to your kitchen. Pour 2 ounces of scotch into a glass. Then drink it down, call a cab, head over to Bitoque and order one. Easy right?
