The festival has been going on for the past month and this is the last weekend to take advantage of this amazing experience.
I was lucky enough to have the chance to try out dogsledding in the Eastern Townships of Quebec when I was in high school and the day was one I will never forget.

If you're a dog lover or you've always just wanted to know more about this ancient form of snow travel, this is an activity you won't want to pass you by.
The dogs at the park this year are Alaskan Huskies and they are lean, mean running machines from Expedition Hautes-Laurentides.
During the ride, you will be accompanied by a "musher," driver of the dogsled.
Interestingly enough, the Fête des Neiges explains where the term "mush" comes from.

They explain ontheir site that the term comes "from the first Franco-Manitoban settlers (Métis). When they were calling out to their dogs, they used the word "marche" (walk). Over time, the word became "musher" which means "marcheur" (walker).
I can't think of a more appropriate Montreal adventure, considering it's practically impossible to walk around the city right now.
Head over to the Fête des Neiges site to buy your tickets — and do it fast! You also need to make a reservation upon arrival to the park if you want to get your ride in.
