Tattoo artist Nate Siggard developed the first soundwave tattoo that can be played back using a mobile app.

SkinMotion will allow you to ink up to 30 seconds of audio into your skin, making it hands down the most technologically advanced tattoo work ever.

This is the future! Songs, voices of loved ones, or any sound you want. Just imagine the possibilities!

A post from Sakyrah Angelique sharing her new Skin Motion tattoo on Twitter went viral in January.

My grandma passed away my junior year of high school. A month before she passed, she left me a voicemail wishing me happy birthday. Today I got that exact waveform tattooed across my heart, and I am able to play it just by holding my camera over it❤️❤️ pic.twitter.com/nwoQ2Bn1DM

With a quick scan of her chest, the tattoo plays back voicemail audio from her late grandmother.

Skin Motion is based out of L.A, but tattoo artists with the talents to execute the digital piece are becoming more available all over Canada.

You can now get your own Skin Motion tattoo by Christopher Policarpio out of Adrenaline Tattoos in Pointe-Claire, QC.

Policarpio is the only tattoo artist offering these little audio gems in all of Quebec.

I will be getting one of these bad boys myself in the coming weeks, and I will update this piece when it's done!

In the meantime, check out his work on Instagram and his official website.
