You Can Watch Montreal's Fireworks Festival From A Cruise Ship This Summer

In just one short month, the Montreal skies will be lit up with fireworks from around the world.

The Loto-Quebec sponsored International Fireworks competition goes on every summer, and draws huge crowds all along the water and over on Parc Jean Drapeau.

Fireworks in Montreal are a summer staple. I think its safe to say that every local attends this event once a year - or has done so in the past. The one thing that can make it tedious is dealing with the crowds and finding the best vantage point to take in all the colourful explosive splendor.

For every show, the crowds in Montreal are intense!Montreal's summer beach village is the optimal space to watch the fireworks from, aside from the bleachers at La Ronde, or along the Jacques-Cartier bridge. But there is another option if you're willing to spend some dollars.

Croisières AML is the best option to watch the fireworks shows over the St. Lawrence River in Montreal - hands down.

This is the same company who offers short cruise getaways throughout Quebec - they really have a ton of great packages that you should absolutely keep in mind.

Right now, though, I want to make you aware of their Fireworks and Dinner packages. Yes, you can hop on their cruise ships, get yourself a good meal and have the best seat out of hundreds and hundreds of people for the show - directly on the water!

Now, as I said these packages will cost ya a little bit - but I think its worth it, at least once! I mean, let's be honest - you will likely ending up spending this money at a bar, or another restaurant anyways!

The fireworks competition is always some of the most impressive displays of explosions in the city - maybe even in the country.

To have an opportunity to watch them directly from the water is totally worth the money, even if only once!

There are 2 different cruise ships being sent out to the water for each of the scheduled fireworks festivals shows throughout the month of July, starting on July 7th!

If this experience is something you just can't pass up, I'd suggest making your reservations soon as these cruise experiences are sure to sell out (some of them are starting to, already!).

You can find more information on all available packages right here, and don't forget to check out the official  Fireworks 2018 competition schedule right here.
