You Can Win Tim Hortons 'Roll Up the Rim to Win' In Canada Without Making A Purchase

Roll-Up-The-Rim is here again, and we're all super excited. Of course, playing roll-up-the-rim can be a strain on your wallet: the more nifty amongst us might buy a T-10 and roll up all the cups that come with it, while other will buy several cups a day.

However, there is a way to get cups for free- meaning that you can play roll-up-the-rim without actually spending any money.

TL;DR Roll-up-the-rim is actually a "no-purchase-necessary" contest. You can request FREE cups from Tim Horton's just by sending them a letter. All you have to do is pay for postage.

Roll-Up-The-Rim has been around for a long time. The beloved tradition began in 1986, and it has delighted customers ever since. During the month of February, us Canadians are fueled exclusively by Tim Hortons coffee and the hope of winning something during roll-up-the-rim, wether it be a donut or a car.

The official rules read that "to obtain a FREE S/M/L/XL Cup [...] please send a FREE Cup request in writing to: Tim Hortons RUTR 2019 Contest Cup & Rules, PO Box 12102, Saint John, NB E2L 5E7.

Limit of one FREE Cup request per envelope with sufficient postage, while supplies last [...] All FREE Cup requests must include a postage-paid, self-addressed return envelope."

The odds of winning are about one-in-six. So, send out six letters, get six free cups, and (probably) win something fun. Life. Hack.
