The STM is currently looking to implement new payment methods for the bus and metro. Last year theย tried to create a way to pay with your phone, but that was basically justย a virtual OPUSย card and it only worked on Android phones.

But last month, they startedexploring new modes of payment.

So far, no single project has been selected, butย at least the STMย are finally looking into more modern payment methods.
