If you've noticed that the city roads and buses are a little less congested than usual, that's probably why. Many Montrealers and Quebecers are off on a well-deserved holiday until August 4th.

The Quebec Police further announced that high volume traffic on the roads during the construction period, combined with breaches of the Security Code, greatly increases the risk of collisions and that increased caution is required.

Moral of the story is: Be extra vigilant out on the roads this weekend! Safe travel and happy vacation.
