YouTube's "Netflix Style" Streaming Service Is Officially Coming To Canada

Back in 2015, YouTube launched their YouTube "Red" service, which has been received pretty well across users who had the access to it.

YouTube's Premium streaming service is finally rolling out through Canada, and they are trying to give other streaming juggernauts a run for their money!

The new YouTube Premium service will include ad-free music, with downloadable content for offline listening/viewing - which is one thing that Canadian users will just love!

They are also promising "bigger and better" original TV shows and movies to roll-out to the streaming service very soon.

YouTube has already gifted the world with the Karate Kid inspired Cobra Kai tv series, and they are promising more amazing titles on the way very soon.

Here is what to expect from YouTube Premium Streaming:

  • All-new YouTube Music service - with ad-free, background listening and downloadable tunes
  • Bigger original series and movies
  • Ad-free, background play, and downloads across YouTube and devices

For those of us who still use YouTube as a go-to when streaming content, or let's be honest - mostly music, this service will be unmatched.

The cost of the service is similar to that of any other streaming service, at around $12 per month. Users can also opt-out of the full service, and snag YouTube premium for the music experience, only, at $10 per month.

Cheers to YouTube, and their attempt at an internet streaming takeover! Good luck, guys!
