Tom Brady, arguably the NFL's greatest quarterback, has a surprising Montreal connection that many of you probably had no idea about. Before he became a superstar football player, Brady was a draft pick for the Montreal Expos baseball team.

Back in 1995, Brady was a talented high school baseball catcher. The Expos took a chance on the budding superstar and drafted him in the 18th round of the 1995 MLB draft with the 507th pick.
But Brady's one true love was football and despite being drafted into the MLB as a teenager, he decided to pursue football at the University of Michigan as a quarterback.
Though he struggled with anxiety and had to fight for playing time, he posted respectable stats during his last two years at Michigan and was drafted by the New England Patriots in the sixth round of the 2000 NFL Draft.
The rest, as they say, his history. In 20 years with the New England Patriots, Brady led the team to six Super Bowl wins and was (and still is) regarded as one of the best quarterbacks to ever play football.
Now, with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, a 43-year-old Brady will lead his team to another Super Bowl appearance for a record 10th time in his career. He's going up against the Kansas City Chiefs, last year's Super Bowl winners.
