Montreal Canadiens player Brendan Gallagher and fiancé Emma Fortin's wedding is coming up and the Montreal bride-to-be has officially said yes to the dress.

Gallagher proposed to Fortin in July during a trip to Whistler where the Ph.D. candidate landed a ring bigger than the ice Gallagher skates on (not actually, but it's stunning). Since then, the couple has been steadily preparing for their magical day with a few celebrations in between, including an engagement party and of course…the hunt for the perfect wedding dress.

Following 12 seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL), Montreal Canadiens player Paul Byron is officially retiring as a pro hockey player. Byron, who proudly sported a number 41 Habs jersey, released a statement on Wednesday, September 20, detailing his decision to step away from playing the sport professionally.

"After many months of processing what is best for my health and the future of my family, I have decided to retire as a professional hockey player. Through many extended attempts of rehabilitation, therapy, visiting and speaking to different doctors, and trying everything to make it back to the game I love, the decision had become clear," Byron wrote.

Montreal Canadiens goaltender Carey Price was back in Montreal for the ultimate hockey surprise on August 23, 2023. Sitting patiently behind a curtain at the Montreal Canadiens Hockey School in Brossard, Price walked out to surprise young hockey fans and the kids' reactions were too adorable.

The group of hockey school students immediately gasped at the sight of Price, who walked in sporting an all-black Under Armour sweatsuit. Smiles, cheers, and applause echoed across the room as the kids got up out of their places to embrace the Habs goalie.

Montreal Canadiens right winger Brendan Gallagher is officially engaged. During a trip out west to Whistler this past weekend, the Habs player dropped to one knee and proposed to his girlfriend Emma Fortin.

Sporting baby blue Nike dunks, boyfriend jeans and a Louis Vuitton bag to match, Fortin didn't seem to hesitate one bit before saying yes. The duo have been dating since January 2022 and are nothing short of being total couple goals. Fortin and Gallagher both posted a series of photos of the heartwarming moment to their Instagram pages on Sunday. "07.07.2023 - forever & always," they wrote below the post.

The former home of Montreal Canadiens star Guy Lafleur has sold for over $1.5 million, real estate broker Tatiana Londono has confirmed to MTL Blog. The Montreal house, on the shore of the Lac des Deux Montagnes on Île Bizard, has three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, one half bath, a detached garage and even a helipad.

The asking price was $1,695,000. The final selling price, following an inspection, is $1,560,000, Londono said.
