A Tiktoker who shared his AI hack for speeding up job applications has gone viral, claiming the technique allowed him to apply for 200 jobs in two days. Jerry Lee, a career consultant who posts digital content as @jerryjhlee on TikTok and @jerryhlee on Instagram, revealed he uses an online chatbot to do the tedious task of filling in forms and answering application questions.

A report from the Provincial Employment Roundtable (PERT) released on February 17 shows the unemployment rate for anglophone Quebecers (8.9%) is 2% higher than it is for francophones (6.9%), while the provincial average is 7.2%.

Anglophones have higher jobless rates in 15 of the province's 17 administrative regions, it found, especially in the Capitale Nationale, Abitibi-Témiscamingue, and in Côte-Nord — where their unemployment rate is a whopping 25.5%.

According to new data from the Institut de la statistique du Québec, the province gained 105,000 high-paying jobs that are paying $30/hour or more despite a loss of 275,000 salaried jobs that paid less than $20/hour.
