A protest will take place on Saturday, October 3* from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. to demand justice for Joyce Echaquan, an Attikamek woman who died on Monday, September 28. While laying on her death bed, Echaquan recorded a Facebook live session of herself in the hospital room crying for help.

Instead of tending to the patient, staff can be heard saying things like she was only good for sex and would be better off dead. "And who do you think is paying for this," can also be heard.
