Staff at a Montreal-area zoo have something to crow about. A raven suspected to have been stolen from the Montreal Ecomuseum Zoo in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue last week — prompting its director to plead for his return — has been found safe.

Kola, a raven with health problems, was found by police on Saturday in a sealed plastic bin near l’Anse-à-l'Orme, said David Rodrigue, executive director of the Ecomuseum, in a statement posted to Facebook.

At a press conference Wednesday afternoon, Regional Public Health Director Dr. Mylène Drouin gave an update on the status of the second COVID-19 wave in Montreal.

She made clear that though "all the territories" of the region "are touched" by the current increase in cases, three "hotspots," Montréal-Nord, Outremont, and the Centre-Sud, are seeing a higher "incident rate."
