If a delicious meal that's made with love from a local restaurant and saves you a bit of cash is your ideal take-out trifecta, consider ordering something with eggs.

Everyone loves fried chicken. And everyone loves Chinese food. Taiwanese-born Montreal chef Helena Han Lin realized those things and in November she opened a new restaurant in Pointe-Saint-Charles where she’s serving up Asian comfort food, pandemic be damned.

“Our idea was to provide something familiar but also to have fun and be creative with the kind of food that we cook,” she said.

Whether it’s dressing up for a big party or a simple night in with your S.O., it’s always been a wonderful opportunity to reflect on past accomplishments and spend time with loved ones. Whenever the sun gets a little less strong, I begin to crave comforting foods that stick to my bones and keep me warm, especially on those nights I'm eating solo. And, luckily for us, Montreal restaurants know how to serve proper comfort food.

Comfort food to me is not a specific cuisine, it is, however, warm, filing, and a lot of the times full of cheese and carbs. And our city is full of any food you could ever dream of.
