16 Things You Can Do In Quebec With Friends To Ring In NYE 2017 If You Don’t Drink
Drinking is basically a 'bad' but fun tradition on New Year's Eve, but for those Montrealer's who don't drink it literally sucks! Watching all the drunk fools out on New Year sure is funny, but there comes a time when those who don't like drinking want to go out and have fun too! So, I have composed a list of insane and unusual things you should do to celebrate 2017 this year WITHOUT any alcohol!

Mont-Tremblant is the absolute best place to go skiing on New Years Eve! Slip and slide down your favorite mountains as the clock strikes 12 and it's officially 2017! There's no better way to start a new year than being literally on top of the world. You obviously know that it’s beautiful in the summer but it’s actually drop dead gorgeous in the winter!

Not only is Mont-Tremblant village absolutely stunning, but there are a bunch of things you can do on New Years Eve if you don't drink! I suggest heading to the Scandinave Spa in Mont-Tremblant (537 Montée Ryan, Mont-Tremblant, QC). It is about an hour and a half drive out of the city and is one seriously magical place. Afterwards, you can check out on of their fabulous restaurants or walk around and laugh at everyone who is drunk!

You can avoid the summer crowds and maybe even have the entire park to yourself this 2017! You and your BFFS will have a view of gigantic icicles that tower 150′ above the Ausable River and a chasm blanketed in snow . Two-hour guided winter tours are also available but reservations are required. All visitors must wear snowshoes or ice cleats for safety, depending on how much ice and snow have accumulated. Rentals are available for $10 per day if you do not have your own. You can even go on a special Photo Tour with resident photographers. It's a great activity for those friend who can have a good time without drinking!

Take a mini 2-hour road trip down to the Festi-Lumiere, taking place in Quebec City. Featuring over 500,000 LED lights on an outdoor circuit, the Festi Lumiere is a huge network of lights, light projections, music, outdoor fireplaces, and more, turning the city into pretty much a wintertime paradise on New Year's Eve. It will be open from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM so I suggest heading to a nice restaurant afterward.
