Bleu Lavande is moving to a new location

Coming along are the iconic rows of lavender, picnic areas and the boutique filled with stunning lavender-infused products.
And not to worry if your furry friends want to check it out — pups on a leash are welcome outside, too.
There will also be a "vélo gourmand" (a roving bike offering snacks and lavender drinks), foot massages and a workshop area on site.
It's becoming an immersive experience
Courtesy of Bleu LavandeAlthough the lavender season is only in the summer (the plants will be cut mid-fall), that doesn't mean it isn't worth the drive to the Eastern Townships throughout the year.
Partnering with Moment Factory, Bleu Lavande will offer an immersive experience — even in the off-season — called Champs Chromatiques ("Chromatic Fields"), an indoor simulation emulating the sights and sounds of the lavender fields swaying in the wind.
The installation is described as a multisensory, "immersive and interactive multimedia experience" where visitors are invited to "bathe in the colours, sounds and gentle movements of an infinite lavender field."
There will also be an educational spot inside to learn more about horticulture and the history of Bleu Lavande.
When does Bleu Lavande open?
The new location will officially open this year, although no official date has been given.
For now, the plan is to open in late-May.
As for pricing, admission is as follows (before tax):
Adults: $15
Seniors (65 and older): $12
Students (18-25, must present a valid student card): $12
Teens (13-17): $8, free if accompanied by an adult
Children (12 and under): Free
Family Package one (one adult with children/teens): $15
Family Package two (two adults with children/teens): $30
Summer pass: $25
