Canada has updated its list of government-authorized quarantine hotels where non-essential international air travellers must spend up to three nights as they await COVID-19 test results, adding ten hotels in Montreal and removing one.

As of February 21, the federal government had listed four designated hotels near the Montréal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport. As of March 2, the list totalled 13 hotels.

The federal government has released a list of authorized hotels that air travellers, including Quebecers, must choose from when returning to Canada by plane — and four of the "quarantine hotels" are in Montreal.  

Beginning on February 22, all travellers flying back into the country are required to stay at one of these hotels for up to three nights while they wait for the results of a mandatory COVID-19 test.
