Canadian Public Safety Minister Bill Blair announced on February 3 that the federal government is adding 13 new extremist groups to Canada's terrorist entities list under the Criminal Code. 

One of those groups is the Proud Boys, which was founded by former Montrealer Gavin McInnes.

It's looking like former Montrealer, Kamala Harris, is set to become the first female vice-president of the United States, according to AP projections — and her alma mater, Westmount High School (WHS), "couldn't be more proud." 

Harris moved to Montreal at the age of 12 and attended WHS when her mother, Dr. Shyamala Harris, got a position at the Jewish General Hospital and McGill University.

Naturally, Harris's former high school took to Twitter to react to the news — as you do when your alumna is set to wind up in the White House.
