Around this time of year, it’s not unusual to start wishing you were elsewhere - midterms, post-holiday blues, and this seemingly unending winter are enough to give any Montrealer a serious travel itch. But while heading off abroad sounds great, it’s not always clear how you can balance student life with a desire to pack up and go.
Luckily, the Study & Go Abroad Fair is putting on a free event at the Palais Des Congrès where you can learn how to do exactly that. No more daydreaming in class about greener pastures - you can find out exactly how to combine your studies with your travel aspirations at this year’s Study & Go Abroad Fair, Canada’s largest international university and student travel expo.
Doesn’t matter if you’re an undergrad, recently graduated, or simply not sure where to start, you can head over to the iconic multi-coloured convention centre on March 4 and learn all about how to take that next educational step. From 1 pm to 5 pm, there will be loads of representatives from some of the world's top universities, giving you the chance to get some real hot tips on your options, as well as scoring some coveted admissions advice.
Whether you’re looking to study abroad, take a gap year, learn a new language or stake out an internship, take advantage of numerous stalls and seminars to get the lowdown on your options, all without having to spend a cent. You can even find out how to study abroad for the lowest possible cost with the all-important scholarship seminar at 12 pm. And just by showing up to the fair, you’re eligible for quite a prize courtesy of Air Canada - a round trip ticket to literally ANYWHERE in the world.
Studying abroad doesn’t have to be a pipe dream - take the opportunity to get some insight from university experts and find out how to further your education around the world. Check out the Study & Go Abroad website for info on exhibitors, seminar schedule times and scholarships offered.
